Mia Williams

Mia Williams was born in Yuma, Arizona and began her ballet training at the Yuma Ballet Academy at age 11. She attended the summer program at the School of American Ballet, the official school of New York City Ballet, in 2021, before enrolling full-time at SAB for the winter term in 2021. She became an apprentice with NYCB in August 2023, and joined the corps de ballet in August 2024. As an apprentice, Williams originated a featured role in Amy Hall Garner’s Underneath, There Is Light.

Williams was a recipient of the 2023 Mae L Wien Award.
